As a member of the U.S. Army, you will have the opportunity to serve as an Equipment Maintenance Technician, responsible for supervising and performing maintenance on vital utilities equipment and support systems.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and perform maintenance on utilities equipment and support systems
  • Read temperature and pressure gauges, make operating adjustments to utility equipment, test for leaks, and perform preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and read and use technical manuals and diagnostic instruments
Requirements
  • A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
  • 17 to 34 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Meet Tattoo Guidelines
  • No major law violations
  • No medical concerns
Training and Certification
  • 125 nationally recognized certifications available
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training
  • 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
  • 92 ASVAB Score: General Maintenance (GM)

Bonus Details

The estimated salary for this position is around $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
