Job Title: Oncology Unit Charge Nurse

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced Oncology Unit Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the daily operations of a specific shift on a clinical unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff and facilitate communication with physicians and internal administrators to provide optimal patient and family-centered care.
  • Identify the need for revision and evaluate the effectiveness of operational forms.
  • Provide and coordinate the resources needed within the unit to provide optimal patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance and adherence with stated policies and procedures for the unit.
  • Remain informed of innovative clinical trends through benchmarking and evidence-based practice.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Two years experience as an RN with a minimum of two years of experience in the area of concentration.
  • Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
  • Certification preferred.
  • BLS required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
