Job Title: Oncology Unit Charge Nurse

Emory Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oncology Unit Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced oncology unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of nurses and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage and coordinate patient care activities, including medication administration and treatment plans.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an RN in an oncology setting.
  • Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
  • Certification in oncology nursing preferred.
