Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Construction Project Manager to oversee multifamily construction projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to completion, maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture professional relationships with the project design team, company personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee the preparation and management of construction documentation.
  • Administer contracts with owners, subcontractors, and vendors effectively.
  • Lead value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all project-related paperwork and documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with all construction permits and regulations.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets, communicating necessary adjustments to the team.
  • Review and authorize draw requests and payments to vendors and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate the transition of projects from construction to operational phases.
  • Address project completion and warranty concerns, ensuring thorough close-out documentation.
  • Manage financial reporting and budget adherence.
  • Implement and oversee the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management (preferred).
  • Proven experience managing multifamily projects valued at $15 million or more.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in the multifamily construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, budgeting, scheduling, and safety standards.
  • Familiarity with project management software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
