About the Role
We are looking for a meticulous and self-motivated professional to become a vital part of our finance team at Times Group. This position is essential for ensuring the efficiency of our daily accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the accounts receivable (AR) ledger, including cash application and reconciliation.
- Engage in collections and maintain communication with clients regarding outstanding receivables, while facilitating internal discussions and escalating issues as needed.
- Prepare and distribute AR reports, including aging reports and statements of accounts (SOA), promptly.
- Assist with month-end closing processes, including downloading bank statements, conducting annual audits, and performing bank reconciliations.
- Collaborate with business teams to generate necessary Debit/Credit notes, ensuring adherence to controls and timely resolution of issues.

Process Management
- Document and uphold comprehensive accounts receivable processes, controls, and procedures.
- Verify GRPO and factory invoices provided by shipping and generate AP invoices in SAP.
- Manage Travel & Entertainment reporting from the expense platform and process as required.
- Address ad hoc queries and conduct analysis as necessary.

Candidate Requirements
- A proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and embrace continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and facilitate group discussions.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English & Chinese.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment while adhering to strict deadlines and balancing daily operations with problem-solving.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP Business One, is a significant advantage.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with a keen attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and independence in work.
- A focus on problem-solving rather than merely identifying issues.

Experience and Education
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting, preferably in the trading or import/export sectors.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
- A professional accounting qualification or student membership is a plus.
