We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at BCI Management. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our multifamily properties, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Operate, replace, and repair HVAC equipment, including work with all refrigerants, and troubleshoot HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, and related controls.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including packaging and handling machinery, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and grounds equipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
  • Safety and Compliance: Complete all required safety training on time as assigned by the company and comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits.
  • Emergency Response: Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns.
  • Inspections and Maintenance: Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, preventative maintenance, and maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as; Fire alarm systems, fire pumps and related fire protection system equipment.
  • Technical Skills: Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance, and ability to use technology such as; smart phones, tablets, computers, web-based applications, building automation systems, etc.

BCI Management is a direct owner-manager focused on acquiring multi-family properties in the mid-atlantic states. We currently manage over 100 properties consisting of Office, Mixed-Use, Multi-Family, and SFR asset types. Our special focus is on LIHTC acquisitions, and we own and manage a number of LIHTC projects in Maryland.
