Job Responsibilities:

  • Be proficient in all styles of duct (galvanized, rectangular, double-wall, slip and drive, etc.)
  • Enter field orders into Vulcan software for fabrication
  • Prepare packets of Labels, Cut Lists, and Shipping documentation for the Sheet Metal Shop Team
  • Conduct Quality Control Checks on field orders and communicate with the team on any issues
  • Keep the production schedule up to date by communicating with the Management Team
  • Work with the Shipping Team on delivery schedules as required
  • Section and Number Duct for fabrication
  • Work with fiberglass, plastics, and other nonmetallic materials
  • Measure and cut appropriate size of sheet metal, as well as install preassemble duct
  • Perform other tasks as required by Management

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in commercial duct installation
  • ABC Apprenticeship Program or NCCER training/certification required
  • Ability to understand schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications
  • Experience working with hand tools and power tools
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety
  • Experience with CamDuct and Vulcan are preferred but we are willing to train
  • Basic Computer Skills required, Windows Applications
