Job Summary:
As a highly skilled Speech Therapist II, you will provide diagnosis and treatment of complex communication disorders for adults and children. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and oversee the work of entry-level staff, supporting community programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and administer diagnostic tests to adults and children with various communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairments, and neurological defects.
  • Advise physicians and caregivers on test results and collaborate with physicians to adjust treatment plans.
  • Train junior therapists and participate in staff development programs, ensuring high-quality care for patients.
  • Develop and maintain department policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California) and Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.

Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
