Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including collecting and recording patient data, vital signs, and medical histories.
• Collaborate with doctors and RNs in examinations, treatments, and various medical procedures.
• Administer medication and injections as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosages and patient safety.
• Monitor patients' conditions, track changes, and report any concerns to the supervising RN or physician, promoting timely interventions and optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation using electronic healthcare systems, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring individualized and comprehensive care.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients, ensuring their well-being and satisfaction, and promoting a positive patient experience.
• Educate patients and their families on appropriate healthcare practices, medications, rehabilitation plans, and self-care techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
• Follow infection control protocols, maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, and adhere to all healthcare regulations and policies, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
Requirements:
• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the state licensing board.
• Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, clinical practices, and medical terminology, with a focus on evidence-based care.
• Proven experience in providing nursing care and administering medications, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism, prioritizing patient needs and well-being.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and accurate documentation.

• CPR certification is required, with a commitment to maintaining current certifications and training.
