RUSH University Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking an accomplished Cancer Survivorship Healthcare Specialist to deliver exceptional patient care.

About the Role:
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient support and guidance.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, document accurate patient histories, and order relevant tests and treatments.
  • Prescribe medications as delegated by state laws and hospital policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals through clear and concise electronic medical records.
  • Initiate and conduct consultations according to Rush guidelines and regulations.
Key Qualifications:
  • Current State of Illinois Physician Assistant Licensure.
  • Active Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Graduation from an Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accredited PA Program.
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in nursing.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
