Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Northrop Grumman. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including mechanical systems, CNC machinery, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and management to ensure effective maintenance and repair processes.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in maintenance or mechanical systems, depending on level of experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CNC machinery, mechanical systems, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of machine geometry, CNC machine repair, and related industrial equipment.
  • Welding experience and ability to work with generators and UPS systems.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $53,000 - $88,300, depending on experience.
