Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify potential issues
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve complex issues
  • Provide technical support and training to colleagues
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of facilities or maintenance experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance
  • Flexibility to occasionally work off shifts and weekends when required
  • Ability to learn CNC machinery equipment
  • Ability to support a 4/10 work schedule (Monday - Thursday, Day Shift)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Comfortable working on computers – Maximo experience
  • Hands-on Maintenance experience with Mechanical Systems
  • Hands-on experience working on CNC's Mills, Water Jets, Paint booths, Ovens and types of Manufacturing Equipment
  • Machine Geometry, CNC Machine Repair and related industrial equipment, and/or Advanced Mechanical Knowledge of Production Machinery Production machine equipment
  • Welding experience
  • Hands-on experience with Generators and UPS's
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Active, In scope DoD Secret or SCI clearance
