We are in search of an experienced Lead Systems Architect to become a vital part of our team. In this position, you will be tasked with managing both Windows and Linux infrastructures, encompassing both physical and virtual environments within our hybrid setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary technical authority for the Systems Engineering team
  • Ensure the seamless operation of worldwide server and network infrastructures
  • Supervise the upkeep and support of server, storage, and networking apparatus
  • Serve as the escalation point for systems-related challenges
  • Deliver technical assistance for diverse server and networking frameworks
  • Monitor system performance and address hardware-related notifications
  • Coordinate urgent support as required
  • Document the system landscape
  • Assist in strategizing and executing projects

Essential Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable position
  • Proficiency with server and storage hardware
  • Networking expertise in switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Thorough knowledge of switching and routing protocols
  • Administration of Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, VMware, or KVM
  • Installation and configuration of SQL Server

Desired Skills:

  • Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent credentials
  • Familiarity with the MS System Center suite
  • Experience with Linux containers and virtualization
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies
