Comprehensive Speech Language Pathologist for Home Health

About the Role:
- Evaluate, direct, and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in their homes or facilities
- Participate in the development and periodic review of the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care
- Utilize professional skills and judgment in assessing and treating disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing
- Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and applications of therapeutic treatments
- Observe, record, and report changes in the patient's condition and response to treatment
- Provide instruction and training to patients in the use of alternative communication systems when appropriate
- Offer counsel and guidance to patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Maintain accurate documentation as required by the Company and/or facility
- Prepare and submit timely written reports of evaluations, visits, summaries, care plans, care coordination activities, and progress reports
- Collaborate with care teams to ensure seamless care coordination and discharge planning
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Required Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Minimum six months of experience as a speech therapist/speech-language pathologist
- Home health experience is an asset
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this role is $84,500 - $116,400. Our comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, an employee assistance program, business travel accident insurance, and more.
