Job Summary

SitelogIQ is a leading provider of energy and facility services, dedicated to creating sustainable building environments. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Energy Engineer to join our team.

This role will involve working closely with our Sales and Operations Teams to identify and develop solutions to address issues and needs related to customer facilities. You will lead projects through development, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery. Occasional travel to project sites within the Midwest region is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct facility surveys and assessments with Facilities Technicians and specialty contractors.
  • Review building assessment materials and ensure compliance with current energy and building codes.
  • Calculate energy, rebate, and operations & maintenance savings associated with proposed improvements.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and coordinate technical and financial project components.
  • Participate in creation and delivery of written and oral presentations, leading technical discussions and responding to customer questions.
  • Guide project development teams and customers in prioritizing solutions to improve facility functionality, operational performance, and efficiencies.
  • Coordinate with our design team for building assessment information and scope of work clarifications.
  • Mentor and train Development Engineers and new employees.
Requirements
  • Experience in energy engineering, facilities engineering, or design engineering.
  • Technical College Degree.
  • Professional Engineer License preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • General computer skills and proficiency on smart phone and tablet devices required.
  • Experience with BlueBeam REVU.
  • Ability to lift 20-pound tool and equipment bags.
  • Ability to safety climb ladders and move over uneven terrain as necessary to access facility equipment.
