Core Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operational efficiency and security of the organization's cloud applications and core server systems.
  • Monitor the health of enterprise systems and respond to any unusual activities.
  • Manage user accounts within Active Directory and cloud services.
  • Support the launch of new features, ensuring they align with existing IT infrastructure.
  • Assist in maintaining Microsoft Windows group policies.
  • Help maintain standard system images and configure new computers for end users.
  • Provide support for remote users in a mobile computing environment.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on new or updated enterprise applications.
  • Work closely with the IT Manager to address errors and suggest improvements to systems and networks.
  • Deliver user and desktop support for both Windows and MacOS systems, assisting remote employees as needed.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to research and resolve technical issues.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Capability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer and networking hardware and software.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to quickly learn a wide range of networking and systems hardware and software.

Educational Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience may substitute for education: a high school diploma plus 5 years of relevant IT experience.

Certifications:
  • Valid driver's license and access to a functional vehicle.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Microsoft Support Engineer Certifications
  • ITIL v4 Foundation
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Security+

Physical and Mental Demands:
  • The work environment may require various physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, and using hands for tasks.
  • Prolonged periods of desk work and computer usage are expected.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds may be necessary.
  • Capability to follow oral and written instructions effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and availability for after-hours work may be required.
