Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Radiation Oncology Navigator. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the care of patients referred to the Prostate CyberKnife Program, ensuring timely progress toward the best clinical outcome.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform intake, assessment, and triage of patients referred to the program
Coordinate with referring physicians and services to facilitate patient evaluation and care
Identify opportunities for patient participation in clinical trials and communicate information to physicians and research coordinators
Provide education and resources to patients and caregivers on medical conditions, diagnostic procedures, treatments, and support services
Maintain outcome data base and manage IRB communications and regulatory updates

Requirements:
Experienced Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's degree in nursing
Master's of Science in Nursing preferred
2+ years of Oncology experience, including IV experience and Nurse Navigator experience
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia
Experience with surgical oncology, inpatient/outpatient/community oncology services preferred
