About the Role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Scaffold E&D Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the stacking and counting of scaffolding materials, preparing materials for shipment, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the receipt and shipment of scaffolding materials, ensuring accurate counting and stacking.
  • Work closely with the Lead Carpenter and Foreman to develop and implement efficient scaffolding solutions.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support to aid in their development.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure safe and efficient working practices, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Some trade school education or equivalent experience in scaffolding and construction.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Scaffold E/D Helper 2 or approved equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
  • Bilingualism is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of various types of scaffolding materials and their applications.
  • Ability to erect and dismantle scaffolding under supervision.
  • General knowledge of different types and sizes of scaffolding materials.
  • Proper use of tools and equipment.
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 40 pounds or more. The ability to work indoors and outdoors is also required.
