Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse

RTG Medical-Nursing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing opportunity in New Ulm, Minnesota.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to expectant mothers and their newborns, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care to patients in labor and delivery, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, responding promptly to any changes or concerns.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and discharge summaries.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Minnesota.
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, with a strong understanding of obstetric care and fetal monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
