Overview:

The Construction Site Engineer role will commence at a significant infrastructure project, focusing on the oversight of the fabrication and assembly of critical components, including but not limited to site evaluations, engineering documentation, and the formulation of construction methodologies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with site safety protocols and regulations.
  • Assist in managing contracts and budgetary considerations.
  • Develop comprehensive construction and engineering work plans.
  • Guarantee that on-site work adheres to the quality control standards outlined in contractual agreements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in bridge or steel structure projects; proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
  • Willingness to learn construction practices to ensure adherence to applicable codes and standards.
  • Support the Project Manager with necessary documentation to facilitate successful project execution.
  • Act as a resource for project specifications and procedures.
  • Participate in construction and safety meetings as required.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace and compliance with drug testing policies.
  • Ability to work safely and minimize OSHA recordable incidents.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards and bridge design software; proficiency in MS Office is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively plan and organize to meet project timelines.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None, but collaboration with other engineers, project managers, and construction personnel is essential.

Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with relevant experience.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations. Capable of drafting reports and business correspondence.

Mathematical Skills:
Proficient in applying mathematical concepts related to structural engineering and calculations.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to address practical problems and interpret various instructions in different formats.

Computer Skills:
Familiarity with spreadsheet and word processing software, along with the ability to learn design software.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Current driver's license required.

Physical Demands:
