Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Spee-Dee Delivery. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair issues with gasoline engines, powertrain components, hydraulic brakes, steering and suspension systems, electrical systems, and diesel emission systems.
- Perform routine truck inspections and maintenance of fleet equipment.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate a manual transmission vehicle or be willing to learn.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years technical instruction in diesel or auto mechanics preferred.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam.
- Must be able to spend a minimum of eight hours on feet.
- Work environment involves ability to bend, kneel, crouch, walk and drive.
