Salary: Estimated salary range $65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and location.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel trucks and trailers, ensuring they are in top condition and ready for service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair diesel trucks and trailers, including routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Work collaboratively with other Mechanics and technicians to ensure efficient and effective repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years' experience as a diesel truck or trailer Mechanic.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade school certification preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
