About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Intelligence Gathering Specialist to join our team at Hollywood Casino at Columbus. As a Surveillance Agent, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our gaming operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor gaming activities and report any suspicious behavior or violations to management.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions, to ensure seamless surveillance.
  • Court Actions: Participate in court actions related to gaming violations and learn to use two card count systems.
  • Game Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with all games in use and procedures, as well as cheating indicators.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Write accurate and timely reports as needed.
  • Communication: Respond to surveillance supervision and gaming control requests, as well as requests from other departments.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical and computer functions, proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas, work in low light conditions, and perform tasks that require physical mobility.
  • Work Schedule: Must be able to work all shifts, including rotating shifts approximately every six months.
  • Confidentiality: Must abide by a non-fraternization policy and confidentiality agreement.
  • Family Members: Cannot have family members employed at the property.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of different table games and ability to observe and identify suspected cheaters and cheating techniques.
  • Vision: Must have 20/20 corrected vision.
  • Training: Must successfully complete TiPS training and possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
