Audiologist I

At Hackensack Meridian Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist I to join our team. As a key member of our audiology department, you will play a critical role in providing diagnostic and treatment services for patients with hearing impairments.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive audiologic evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, immittance audiometry, and speech audiometry, to identify hearing handicaps and determine the type and degree of hearing impairment or auditory disorder.
- Interpret diagnostic findings and communicate results to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy for children and adults with hearing/communication handicaps.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in audiology and hearing rehabilitation techniques.
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Audiology (MA, MS, Au.D., Sc.D., Ph.D.)
- Eligible for New Jersey State License/provisional License in Audiology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms
- Previous experience in hearing aid dispensing and pediatric audiology
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital setting
- Maintains ASHA CCC-A certification
