We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Sales Representative to join our team at Waters Truck and Tractor. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing our parts sales through existing and new clients.
Responsibilities- Customer Focus: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Parts Sales and Growth: Maintain and grow parts sales through existing and new clients, including prospecting for new accounts and referrals.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and determine customer's changing needs, promoting appropriate products to meet those needs.
- Teamwork: Work in both an independent and team environment, interacting with internal managers to identify new customers and assist in performing parts cycle counts and inventory control tasks.
- Business Acumen: Accurately source and quote product prices and availability through research of suppliers, and utilize the business system (Karmak Fusion) to monitor and track vehicle parts orders and inventory.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by management, including potentially assisting in performing parts receiving and supplier orders and related tasks.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 2 years of diesel truck and equipment parts experience preferred, but not required. Previous sales experience is an asset.
- Skills: Ability to cold-call, build relationships with customers, and provide exceptional service. Strong negotiation and listening skills, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer software skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet. Familiarity with Karmak Fusion business system and Navistar's software systems a plus.
- Personal Qualities: Commitment to ongoing sales training, strong time-management skills, and ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks. Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer.
