Waters Truck and Tractor is a family-owned business with over 80 years of experience in the industry. We are a dealer for International Trucks and IC School Buses, Collins Buses, Maintainer Service Trucks/Bodies, Jerr-Dan Wreckers/Carriers, Idealease Truck Rental/Leasing, and various trailer lines. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Parts Salesperson to join our team.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Prospect for new accounts and referrals to grow parts sales.
- Interact with internal managers to identify new customers and opportunities.
- Accurately source and quote product prices and availability through research of suppliers.
- Assist in performing parts cycle counts and helping with inventory control tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of diesel truck and equipment parts experience preferred.
- Previous sales experience is an asset.
- Ability to cold-call, build relationships with customers, and provide exceptional service.
- Strong negotiation and listening skills.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer software skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet.
