About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Banquet Bartender to join our team at Omaha Embassy Suites. As a Banquet Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during banquet events, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mix and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, and beer, while maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Promote food and beverage sales by suggesting pairings and making recommendations to guests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, responding to their needs promptly, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Perform side duties such as cleaning, garnish preparation, and stocking, as needed.
  • Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables prior to closing time and complete closing duties.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Comply with all liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience is required.
  • 6 months of bartending experience is preferred.
  • Prior bar and/or restaurant experience is also preferred.
  • Food Safety certificate or completion of training during initial 90 days is required.
  • Alcohol certification or completion of training during initial 90 days is required.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend and squat repeatedly.
  • Ability to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shifts.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be flexible to work days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
