Banquet Bartender

Job Summary:

The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional bar experiences for guests during banquet events at the Omaha Embassy Suites. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Mix and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, while adhering to standard recipes and control systems.
Promote food and beverage sales to enhance revenue and guest satisfaction.
Provide exceptional service to guests by welcoming them promptly and serving them courteously.
Perform side duties such as cleaning, garnish preparation, and miscellaneous preparation to maintain a clean and organized bar area.
Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables prior to closing time and complete closing duties to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Maintain the cleanliness of the bar and comply with all liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies.
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.

Requirements:

Previous customer service experience is required, with a minimum of 6 months of bartending experience preferred.
Prior bar and/or restaurant experience is also preferred.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a Food Safety certificate or completion of training during the initial 90 days.
An Alcohol certification or completion of training during the initial 90 days is also required.
The ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds, bend and squat repeatedly, and walk and stand for the duration of the scheduled shift is necessary.
Must be flexible to work days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
