Occupational Therapist Specialist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Portland, Oregon.
Job SummaryThis full-time position involves working as a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric age groups. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering individualized treatment programs that cater to each patient's specific needs and goals.
Main Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' physical status, functional abilities, and age-specific needs to determine their current level of functioning, self-care, and independence.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that involve the patient, family, and social support systems.
- Provide treatments based on established departmental guidelines and protocols, demonstrating competency in managing patients safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and chart updates.
- Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to departmental safety precautions and procedures.
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- An active Occupational Therapist License in the state where care is provided.
- Basic Life Support certification within 2 months of hire.
- Automated External Defibrillator training.
- National Provider Identifier at hire.
- 2 years of experience in hand/upper extremity therapy or related field.

Kaiser Permanente offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
