POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Provider Recruitment is instrumental in facilitating the growth of our organization by spearheading the recruitment of physicians and advanced practice practitioners nationwide. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic, innovative setting, developing and executing effective talent acquisition strategies that emphasize inclusion and diversity in partnership with business leaders. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on recruitment efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Management:
  • Leads a collaborative team to achieve outstanding recruitment outcomes through an inspiring leadership approach.
  • Mentors and supports recruiters to foster a high-performing recruitment environment.
  • Efficiently manages open positions by adhering to established processes, minimizing reliance on external agencies.
  • Collaborates with recruiters to formulate recruitment strategies, prioritize needs, and establish quarterly and annual goals.
Relationships:
  • Acts as a strategic partner to hiring managers, accountable for meeting annual recruitment objectives.
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with executives and stakeholders to align on recruitment requirements.
  • Oversees requisition management, collaborating with hiring managers to clarify job descriptions and staffing needs.
Recruitment:
  • Conducts interviews with candidates via phone, video, or in-person.
  • Sources and recruits for various positions based on team capacity and organizational impact.
  • Manages the full cycle of recruitment responsibilities.
Partnerships:
  • Works with compensation teams to address candidate package requests.
  • Communicates with stakeholders regarding onboarding processes, terminations, and internal transfers.
  • Collaborates with leadership to enhance and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Coordinates with budget teams to ensure alignment of recruitment initiatives with financial plans.
Strategy:
  • Develops a high-performing recruitment team by establishing a clear vision and strategic objectives aligned with business needs.
  • Implements initiatives to attract diverse talent across multiple locations.
  • Focuses on improving the experiences of candidates and hiring managers alike.
  • Drives proactive sourcing efforts to increase the quality of recruits through networking and partnerships with educational institutions.
  • Utilizes recruitment analytics to refine strategies and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Over 10 years of recruitment experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing recruitment in organizations with over 1,000 employees.
  • Proven experience in recruiting for physician and advanced practice practitioner roles.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance standards in recruitment practices.
  • Strong decision-making skills with a disciplined approach and competitive spirit.
  • Ability to serve as a subject matter expert in recruitment with a consultative approach.
  • Proven capability to execute strategic and project-related plans.
  • Proficient in managing multiple concurrent projects with effective prioritization.
