Top Dog Country Club, a renowned vacation club for dogs, is seeking a full-time Certified Dog Trainer - Canine Care Specialist to enhance our training program and provide owners with peace of mind when they travel. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, happiness, and well-being of our canine guests.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training programs to promote good social skills and behavior in dogs
  • Work closely with our team to provide a luxurious vacation experience for our canine guests, including 5-6 hours of group play each day
  • Collaborate with our staff to create a fun and engaging environment that promotes physical exercise and mental stimulation for our dogs
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our owners, ensuring their peace of mind while they are away
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest canine care and training techniques

Requirements

  • Professional pet training certification (CCPDT / CPDT-KA / IAABC / AABP / CBATI)
  • Passion for dogs and a love for the outdoors
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively with dogs of all sizes and breeds
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
