Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Neuroscience Account Manager to lead the promotion of our psychiatry portfolio to Psychiatrists and Institutional Accounts. As a key member of our sales team, you will execute sales and marketing strategies with comprehensive clinical knowledge to drive sales performance.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team where you will be responsible for promoting our psychiatry portfolio to key customers. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and execute account plans, leveraging your strong analytical skills and ability to navigate complex commercialization challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute business plans to drive sales growth and expand market share
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including Psychiatrists and Institutional Accounts
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and develop strategic plans to capitalize on them
* Utilize data analytics to inform sales strategy and optimize sales performance
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, chemistry, pharmacology)
* 4+ years of pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in CNS/neuroscience
* Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a strong focus on customer development and relationship-building
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information to non-technical stakeholders
* Strong analytical skills, with experience using data analytics tools to inform sales strategy and optimize performance
* Ability to travel up to 30% domestically to meet with customers and attend industry events
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience promoting and detailing products specific to CNS/neuroscience, including depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder
* Documented successful sales performance in similar roles
* Strong leadership skills, with experience leading high-performing sales teams
* Analytical background, with experience using sales data reporting tools to identify trends and inform sales strategy
Benefits
Lundbeck offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $145,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible paid time off, health benefits, and a company car.
