Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Microbiology and Anatomy Instructor to join our team at Spartanburg Community College, SC. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and support to students pursuing degrees in the life sciences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver course materials, assessments, and learning experiences that are effective, engaging, and aligned with program and institutional goals.
  • Ensure that students receive a strong foundation in microbiology, anatomy, and physiology that prepares them for future careers in the life sciences.
  • Collaborate with other faculty and staff to support student success and contribute to the continuous improvement of the life science programs.
  • Engage in professional development and scholarship to maintain and enhance expertise in the subject matter and teaching methods.
Requirements
  • Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Biology or Human Anatomy and Physiology.
  • Experience teaching college transfer Microbiology or Human Anatomy and Physiology to adults at the college level.
