Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class A Truck Driver to join our team at Ryder System. As a Regional Flatbed Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle and delivering goods to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
  • Load and unload freight, or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by customers.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, including hours of service, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with Ryder's safety policies and procedures, and report any safety hazards or incidents to management.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with endorsements for the position.
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
  • Pass a DOT physical.
  • Pass a Ryder road test.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures.
