Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Meriter-UnityPoint Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain computed tomography equipment to produce diagnostic images of designated portions of the body.
  • Assist in direct patient care under the direction of the Radiologist.
  • Adjust and operate diagnostic CT equipment to produce diagnostic images.
  • Meet national standards for dose reduction.
  • Work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and call.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited hospital program.
  • Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • CT Certified or certified within 18 months of orientation period.
  • Current License as a Radiographer in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Current CPR certification or eligibility to complete within three months of hire.
  • Knowledge of day-to-day operations of a medical imaging department within a hospital setting.
  • Patient care and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures.
  • Competence in the care and service to our patients and customers of all ages.
  • Knowledge of standard precautions and associated techniques.
  • Patient and clinician safety measures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in CT.
  • Knowledge of EPIC, RIS, and PACS.
