We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Richmond, VA. As a key member of our Water Resources group, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including stormwater management design, stream restoration, and floodplain management.
About the Role:- Design and implement stormwater management systems, including detention ponds, green infrastructure, and other innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop balanced designs that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, including surface water modeling and watershed planning.
- Develop and implement erosion and sediment control measures to protect waterways and prevent environmental damage.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, including ESRI ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, and SWMM.
- B.S. or MS degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in water resources-related fields, including stormwater management, watershed planning, and hydrologic analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- P.E. license preferred.
