Job Summary

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) plays a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and treatment in emergency and non-emergency situations. As a member of the Global Medical Response team, you will respond to requests for medical assistance, deliver compassionate care, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of medical treatment protocols, response requirements, and Company policies.
  • Operate Company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to Risk & Safety policies and traffic laws.
  • Locate addresses quickly and safely, using knowledge of number systems and street layouts.
  • Perform routine checks to ensure the ambulance is in a state of mechanical readiness.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessment and treatment, as well as patient statistical and billing information.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other responders via phone or radio.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have some prior work experience in a healthcare system.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Driver's License, State EMT certification, and CPR/BLS certifications necessary.
Working Conditions and Requirements

Available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with extended workdays. May work indoors or outdoors with exposure to weather. Possible routine exposure to moderate noise levels.

Must be able to wear a face mask or respirator with proper fit for extended periods when required.
