Job Summary:

The Retail Lead Generator, a key member of the NRG Energy sales team, is responsible for sourcing potential customers and setting up appointments for the Replacement Sales Retail team in retail locations. This role is the first step in the prospecting process and relies on the Retail Lead Generator's persuasive abilities and creative methods of sourcing potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate excitement and increase Airtron brand awareness in retail locations.
  • Discover opportunities for the Replacement Sales team by sourcing prospective buyer leads for products and services in retail locations.
  • Demonstrate a positive impact on sales by generating qualified leads.
  • Achieve minimum expectations on lead generation during peak and off-peak months.
  • Schedule lead appointments in coordination with the Airtron office staff.
  • Attend daily sales team calls with the Lead Generator Supervisor.
  • Present products and answer questions to customers and retail associates.
  • Follow all company and retail store policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year's sales experience.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • General computer competency.

  • Completed college coursework.

  • Ability to adhere to long periods of standing, walking, or sitting.
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
