Job Overview:

Schneider is in search of a Senior Accountant to contribute to the financial operations in the Green Bay area. This role involves engaging in closing processes, which includes the preparation of internal reports and conducting detailed variance analyses. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for compiling period-end journal entries, executing analytical review procedures during monthly closings, and preparing reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee various accounting domains, including goodwill, equity, share-based compensation, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency balances.
  • Review and record journal entries during the closing processes.
  • Conduct reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of control procedures.
  • Prepare external financial statements.
  • Implement new accounting regulations.
  • Develop, document, and execute procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Document workflows and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • 3-6 years of experience in accounting or auditing.
  • CPA and public accounting experience is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Oracle.
