Covenant Living Communities is seeking a dedicated Floor and Custodial Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our campus, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general building and facility custodial and cleaning functions, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Assist in emergency clean-ups and perform project cleaning as assigned.
  • Maintain all floors, including sweeping, dry and wet mopping, stripping, scrubbing, waxing, vacuuming, extraction, hosting, and buffing.
  • Utilize specialized equipment to ensure floors are maintained in excellent and safe condition.
  • Move furniture as needed, remove trash and recyclables, and maintain cleaning equipment.
  • Participate in inventory control, receiving supplies, and ensuring all areas are fully stocked.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Housekeeping and/or general maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written, with residents and staff.
  • Dependability and common sense, with the ability to organize daily cleaning schedule to finish each day's assignment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work within standard policy and procedures, with limited direct supervision.
