About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Coffee Trainer to join our team at Glendale. As a Barista Trainer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the skills and knowledge of our barista team, ensuring they deliver exceptional coffee and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Deliver Comprehensive Training Programs: Create and implement training programs that cover all aspects of specialty coffee preparation, including espresso techniques, latte art, brewing methods, and more.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Maintain a strong focus on quality control, ensuring that all beverages meet our high standards.
  • Assess and Improve Skills: Assess baristas' skills and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with Management: Work with the management team to identify training needs and opportunities for professional development.
  • Stay Informed and Innovative: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations, incorporating this knowledge into training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Barista Trainer or a senior barista with a strong track record in specialty coffee.
  • Deep Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso preparation, and latte art.
  • Passion for Coffee: Passion for specialty coffee and a commitment to excellence in every cup.
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
