We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Closing Lead to join our Kenneth Village Glendale location and help ensure our operations run smoothly until the last cup is served.
Job Description:
As the Closing Lead at our Glendale Coffee Commissary, you will be responsible for overseeing the evening operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to our high standards. This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for specialty coffee, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the closing operations, including securing the store, completing end-of-day financials, and ensuring the café is clean and ready for the next day.
- Lead and motivate the team during the closing shift, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring each guest leaves with a positive experience.
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages according to Coffee Commissary’s quality standards.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the shift, escalating to management as needed.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained according to company protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the management team.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a coffee shop, café, or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and resolve conflicts.
- Passion for specialty coffee and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently during closing shifts.
