Occupational Therapist Assistant for Neurological Rehabilitation

We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team at Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners in Riverside, CA. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care to individuals with neurological injuries or conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to evaluate clients' functionality and develop personalized therapy plans.
- Implement treatment programs designed to meet clients' rehabilitation goals and objectives.
- Provide treatment techniques, including activities of daily living, perceptual-motor activities, guidance on adaptive equipment use, exercises to enhance functional performance, prevocational evaluation and treatment, and assistive technology training.
- Collect and accurately record data on therapy programs.
Requirements:
- An Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy and active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License in applicable state(s) along with a minimum of two years related work experience, preferably in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting.
- A valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained.
- Competence in writing, planning, organization, and documentation as well as time management skills are required.
- The ability to communicate effectively with families, professionals, and co-workers and demonstrate positive client interaction skills is essential.
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
