Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A Daily to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods from one location to another
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Load and unload freight, and assist in the loading and unloading of freight as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of trips, including hours of service, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Have at least 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years, or 2 years of experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years of experience within the last 10 years
