Job Description

At Ryder, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class B CDL Truck Driver to join our team. As a Home Daily Driver, you will be responsible for delivering freight to various locations in MD, DC, and VA, while ensuring the safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Ryder's safety policies and procedures.
  • Loading and unloading freight, as well as maintaining accurate records and logs.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check.
  • Hold a valid Class B CDL and endorsements for the position.
  • Have at least 9 months of experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions, as well as read and interpret laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
