Job Summary

As a Lead Anesthesia Technician at Temple Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of anesthesia services to our patients. This position requires a strong background in anesthesia technology, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain par levels for anesthesia and non-controlled medications in all anesthesia locations.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to new and less experienced anesthesia technicians.
  • Work with the Central Supply and Purchasing departments to ensure the management of all anesthesia purchases.
  • Collaborate with Biomedical Engineering to ensure that broken and malfunctioning equipment is removed from service, repaired in a timely manner, and returned to service.
  • Work with all OR colleagues to ensure that all Temple Health ORs and procedural areas are providing safe, efficient, and cost-effective patient care at all times.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • 2 Years experience utilizing sterilization techniques in an OR (Required)
  • 3 Years experience functioning as an anesthesia technician in an OR (Required)
  • ASATT - Amer Society Anesthesia Tech (Preferred)
