California Protons Cancer Therapy Center is seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a PET/CT Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients with cancer and other medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ordered examinations of appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the Center
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction every step of the way
- Administer contrast agents and/or radiopharmaceuticals under the guidance and approval of site Radiologist
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Conduct patient history taking and answer all relevant queries before the procedure
- Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain equipment in proper working condition
- Participate in quality control and performance improvement activities
- Maintain own clinical competency and mandatory requirements
Requirements:
- National License under NMTCB or ARRT (N) required
- Completion of formal training educational program in an AMA JCERT approved school of Radiation Technology
- Three to five years of imaging experience in hospital or clinic settings
