We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Office of Addiction Services and Supports. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations on newly admitted patients.
  • Author medication orders and clarify orders with nursing staff as needed.
  • Assist in the ongoing assessment of patients and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Provide educational lectures and individual health counseling to patients.
  • Refer patients to local hospitals for acute medical and psychiatric care.
  • May function as Employee Health Coordinator and participate in activities to improve patient care and facility operations.
  • Utilize a computer daily for patient documentation and other required communications.
  • May provide services via telemedicine and travel to other ATCs as needed.
Requirements

Candidates must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs. A background investigation will be conducted, including a Criminal Background Check, State and federal Criminal History Record Checks, and screening against the Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment.
