Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Sloan, a leading manufacturer of commercial plumbing systems, is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Manager to join our team. As a Regulatory Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products comply with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local regulations affecting Sloan products, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Offer expert advice on regulatory standards to functional managers, ensuring product compliance.
- Participate in industry roundtables, standards writing committees, and task groups, representing Sloan's interests and providing written reports on committee activities.
- Develop and implement a process for creating company positions on affected code changes, obtaining stakeholder consensus, and maintaining a library of FAQs.
- Cross-train colleagues on industry participation and respond to field installation issues, such as Made in U.S.A. attest documents and code violations.
- Manage a user-accessible library of FAQs and maintain timely responses to field support activities.
- Develop and distribute a quarterly Regulatory newsletter, highlighting product compliance activities, operations compliance, and industry sustainability.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 4-6 years' experience on industry standards writing committees, petitioning standards bodies for company clarification on standards compliance.
- Strong understanding of ANSI accreditation and standards development procedural steps.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to debate technical merits and build collaborative relationships among industry stakeholders.
- Ability to work as part of a team, acquire consensus among disparate team members, and formulate company positions on proposed regulatory standards.
