Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pre-Op/PACU team at Ambulatory Surgery Center of Stockton. As a PACU nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery process for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders and provide continuity of care for patients in the PACU and Pre-Op departments
  • Assess patients' conditions and provide patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times
  • Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and sterile technique
  • Provide comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in preparation for discharge
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Currently licensed in the state of CA
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in PACU or ICU
  • Thorough knowledge of perioperative process, surgical procedures, and anesthesia implications
  • Telemetry experience necessary
